Easter was wonderful! On Saturday we went to our church's Easter egg hunt. Last year our church had this Easter egg hunt for the first time. Isaac was only 3 or 4 months old then. So he was bundled in his stroller the whole time. This year he was out there getting the eggs!! It took him a few seconds to warm up to the idea but he finally caught on and enjoyed it! Then Saturday night we went over to a friend's house and had another egg hunt! Isaac had caught on by this point. Well sort of... He would find them (with a little help) and put them in his basket and then when he found his friend's basket he started putting all his eggs in their basket. Glad he knows how to share! :) It was so much fun to watch him!! By the way it was COLD!!!
On Sunday we went to our church's 2nd Annual Sunrise service (last year Easter Sunrise was our very first service) at 7AM and were at church until 12 noon. We stayed for the 10:00 service as well. It was a great day to celebrate with great friends and church family!! It was amazing to see the church (school gym) so packed. We had a little over 500 people in the 10:00 service. Amazing!! It was great to celebrate Easter with such a wonderful church family!!
After church we went and had lunch at Rutland Place with my parents, sister and family and her in-laws. It was good, except for Isaac running around and being 1 year old! Then we went for another egg hunt over to MawMaw's house (my sister's in-laws). Isaac and Drew looked for more eggs and the 2 that Isaac "found" he put in Drew's basket for him:) Isn't he such a sweet cousin:) After that we came home and CRASHED!! A 3-hour nap for all of us. It was great!! Jay and I tried to watch a movie that night but I fell asleep before it even started. Jay stayed up and watched it.
